JNF celebrates Israel's 60 Anniversary
JNF is celebrating Israel's 60th Anniversary with a host of sponsored events and parties ranging from the Annual ZF Wembley Event on the day itself, to an Israeli Embassy Reception on May 12th and a UJS Israel at 60 festival at the fabulous Ministry of Sound for the younger set.

Last Monday night was a historic event, as the singing of the Hatikvah resonated around Windsor Castle’s St. George’s Hall, sung by 300 guests and accompanied by the Band of the Irish Guards, to celebrate Israel 60.

Boris Johnson wowed an audience of 200 at an event last night hosted by the JNF UK Negev Committee in conjunction with the Israeli Investment Bank FIBI. £15,000 was raised for the JNF UK Negev Campaign

- Young Ambassadors Visit Israel with JNF Education
JNF UK YOUNG AMBASSADOR FINALISTS VISIT ISRAEL
The winning teams from Kings Solomon's School and JFS enjoyed a week in Israel as guests of JNF visiting JNF UK projects in the Negev, as well as meeting officials at the Foreign Ministry.
The competition between teams of sixth formers at Jewish Schools, organised by JNF UK, Tribe, Bicom and UJS aims to create young Ambassadors for Israel by equipping them with advocacy skills prior to going to university.

Agreement is reached to create a new post of Chairman for JNF UK.
London, 30th January 2008 JNF UK and The KKL Charitable Trust have today announced the creation of the new post of Chairman of JNF UK. Samuel Hayek, the recently appointed chairman of The KKL Charitable Trust will assume the role of Chairman of JNF UK as this new post will pave the way for a remarkable and unprecedented settlement of the recent dispute between the two organisations.
