JNF Conference: Vision 2010

The JNF Conference, entitled 'Vision 2010', looked at JNF's current projects and the need to develop the Negev region. Showcasing many of its current projects, participants were given an insight into the charities work, upcoming projects and the JNF's future vision and goals.

Britain's Chief Rabbi, Lord Jonathan Sacks, Israeli Kadima party leader Tzipi Livni MK and Israel's Ambassador to the UK H.E, Ron Prosor, expressed their support for JNF UK's projects and vision to develop the Negev. Samuel Hayek, Chairman of JNF UK, introduced the themes of the Conference, which also featured contributions by Avraham Duvdevani, World Co-chair of KKL; Raffaele Sassun, President of JNF-KKL Italy; David Bouskila, the Mayor of Sderot; and Moshe Berniker, representative of Halutzit.

Participants were also given the opportunity to present questions to the panel of experts on the issues and dilemmas facing Israel in future years.
