Legacies

 

JNF’s strapline is ”Supporting Israel for Life”. It is what we believe and what we implement. It is why we have, since before the establishment of the State, been at the forefront of creating communities, planting forests and building reservoirs amongst numerous other projects which help to ensure that Israel has the necessary infrastructure to continue to flourish and provide for its people.

 

The work carried out by the JNF in Israel is vital for Israel’s survival and future development. As Israel’s leading humanitarian and environmental charity, JNF is currently working hard to ensure that the desert sands in the Negev are transformed into bustling communities allowing Israel to maximise its resources and continue providing greenery, infrastructure and homes for its people.

 

As well as the work which we carry out in Israel, we also co-ordinate education on Israel in Jewish schools and chedarim throughout the UK, enabling a new generation to learn about, be inspired by and fall in love with Israel.

 

To help support this vital work, the JNF relies on the generosity of its supporters, without which we would not have achieved what we have over the years. Our commitment to Israel continues and while we are proud of our achievements to date, there is plenty more still to do.

 

One of the ways in which you can help the JNF to continue supporting Israel for life is by leaving a legacy to JNF in your Will. We are thankful to the growing number of our supporters who after they have made adequate provisions for their families, decide to leave a legacy in their Will to JNF as their way of making a lasting contribution towards Israel’s future. At the same time, such a legacy reduces the Inheritance Tax on their estate.

 

You can leave a legacy to the JNF when making your Will or, if you have already made a Will, you can leave a legacy by adding a codicil to your existing Will. Just provide your solicitor with the wording that appears here and he or she will do the rest.

 

You may wish to bequeath a legacy towards a specific JNF project in your name and we can help you select from a multitude of projects which specifically meets your desired criteria.
