JNF to Establish Project in Memory of Lady J

Lady
Amelie Jakobovits was the epitome of an Eshet Chayil - a woman of worth.
She engendered unconditional love, esteem and inspiration from her husband,
her family, her charities and her community. Often a person with her
background in war-torn Europe allows themselves to become conditioned
by those experiences. Whilst they inevitably did mould her outlook on
life, she ultimately became defined by her own relationships with, and
love for, others - indeed all who came in contact with her.
Lady J was gifted with the qualities to be a true people person. Her
innumerable acts of kindness and good deeds are legendary: a phone call
or note responding to the needs of others in times of trouble or of simcha,
demonstrating her unique ability to share in joy, comfort in illness
and mourn with the bereaved. In short, to be 'there' when people needed
her most.
In partnership with her family, the JNF will be honouring her memory
through a project in the forest created in 1990 in honour of Lord Jacobovits
z'l, in Hoshaya. We know that nothing gave Lord and Lady Jacobovits more
pleasure than seeing Eretz Yisrael growing and flourishing. To find out
more, please email us at info@jnf.co.uk.
May her memory forever be a blessing.
