Chiran Forest
Trees help knit the soil of the Negev together and the ongoing plan to green the desert. With your help, JNF will be planting 30,000 trees in a new forest, south of Mount Hebron. Half the trees will be coniferous varieties including Jerusalem pines and cypress and the remainder will be deciduous trees such as acacia, eucalyptus, carob and tamarisk.
