Jason Pearlman tells JNF UK about Israel’s priorities for year ahead

Jason Pearlman, International Media Adviser to the President of Israel, gave a timely talk on current events in Israel to an audience at Ner Yisrael, Hendon on Thursday evening.

Jason, born in England, worked in public affairs and media for the likes of the Israel Embassy and the Board of Deputies.

After making Aliyah, he continued working in the media department of the Prime Minister of Israel’s office and is now the foreign media adviser in the President’s Office. Jason is responsible for the international media coverage of President Reuven Rivlin.

Around 50 guests attended the event and enjoyed an informative and inspirational talk given by Jason, followed by question time and discussions. Pearlman’s talk addressed the media, journalism and the way Israel is portrayed in different countries around the world. He also touched on the current security crisis in Israel and suggested priorities for Israel in the year ahead.

His positive message left the audience feeling uplifted, given the current situation in Israel.
