JNF UK’s evening of Kosher Komedy

140 guests joined JNF UK on Sunday as they hosted their 5th successful annual Kosher Komedy event at the Gatehouse Theatre in Highgate.

The sell-out audience were treated to high calibre acts ranging from past television shows and the all famous Edinburgh Fringe festival. Hosted by the hilarious Mark Maier, the night was one of uncontrollable laughter, Jewish humour and entertainment. Acts included comedians Dominic Holland, Spencer Jones and Philip Simon and singing impressionist Jess Robinson.

Sticking to the theme of entertainment, all money raised on the evening went to the Bikurim Performing Arts School in the Eshkol region of the Negev. This JNF UK supported project enables talented young people from underprivileged backgrounds to fulfil their potential, whilst at the same time enhances the cultural life in Israel’s south.

Tracy Lee, Event Chair said, “It was a great evening, and wonderful to see everyone laughing all together for a good cause. I feel passionate about the Bikurim Music School and giving talented underprivileged youth the same opportunities that we have”

Alan Aziz CEO of JNF UK said “The JNF UK Kosher Komedy night was a fantastic chance for our supporters to get together and have a great evening. The Kosher comics were absolutely brilliant and we want to thank them and all our guests for joining us. The money raised will go a long way to funding the vital work we’re doing in Israel”
