Earlier this week, Conservative Friends of Israel (CFI) held a business lunch with special guest Prime Minister Theresa May. During her speech the Prime Minister spoke passionately about her views on anti-Semitism announcing that “Britain will be adopting a formal definition of anti-Semitism. In essence, language or behaviour that displays hatred towards Jews because they are Jews – and anyone guilty of that will be called out on it.”

She also vowed to mark the centenary of the Balfour Declaration with pride and spoke of her vision to take the UK-Israel relationship to the next level.
The event concluded with a proud moment for JNF UK; CFI Director, Lord Stuart Polak CBE, presented The Prime Minister with a JNF tree certificate detailing that a garden of trees has been planted in the Lord Sacks Forest near Jerusalem, in her name.
