On Monday 2 April 2018, children, parents and grandparents joined JNF UK’s inaugural Family Experience in the Negev. The trip aimed at families with kids, included some light hiking to the caves and tunnels in the Beit Guvrin area of Israel, followed by a visit to JNF UK supported project HaShomer HaChadash

They spent the morning at a farm in Amatzia, a Moshav in south-central Israel, where they participated in an activity working the land and in a customary tree planting ceremony. Afterwards they got to prepare and eat lunch with some of Israel’s 21st Century pioneers from JNF UK supported organisation – HaShomer HaChadash. The day concluded exploring the caves in the ancient city of Beit Guvrin.
