JNF UK supporter Sari took part in the Maccabi GB Community Fun Run on Sunday, raising money for our projects that will help develop Israel’s peripheries. Accompanied by her eight-year-old son David, Sari took part in the Colour Run – a five kilometre race where the participants were pelted with colourful powder!

We also had a presence amongst the charity stalls, showcasing the work we are doing in Israel. Staff and volunteers were on hand to explain how much of an impact our projects are having in some of the most neglected parts of the country.

The day was also the perfect opportunity for a competition! Visitors were encouraged to guess how many pennies we had inside one of our iconic Blues Boxes, with the winner receiving an Amazon gift voucher.

With over 7,500 people in attendance, it was great to take part in one of the biggest communal events of the year. We’d like to thank Sari, David, and everyone who took the time to come and speak to us – and we look forward to returning next year!
