Close to 70 clients and friends of KKL Executor and Trustee Company were treated to a swinging extravaganza at the annual Chanukah party of JNF UK’s legacy department on the 23rd of December.

Hosted in Edgware, the event opened with David Goodman, JNF UK’s Director of Community Relations, discussing the miracle of Chanukah and how we all still living through miraculous times.

Entertainment was provided by Pete Sinclair, who captivated the audience with his tribute to to the Rat Pack and, in particular, Frank Sinatra. There were also standout vocal impressions of other timeless crooners such as Elvis Presley, Dean Martin and Neil Diamond. David Goodman followed with a brief talk about Israel’s vision for 2050.

The party was accompanied by a mouth-watering spread that included doughnuts, latkes, pastries, sandwiches and Thai fishcakes.

As part of its pastoral care services, KKL E&T holds events at significant times of the year to ensure that some of its clients will not be celebrating alone.

Barbara from South Woodford commented: “I like this music, it’s very entertaining and it’s particularly lovely to be here on a cold winter’s afternoon.”

Following the Chanukah lighting, led by Daphne from Brondesbury Park, the party was drawn to a close by everyone singing Hatikvah.
