JNF UK’s resident master baker Ruth has done it again with a super easy ‘no-bake’ Cheesecake Mousse recipe. One for everyone in the family to get involved with, including the little ones! Ruth has been using this recipe for 30 years, making it with schools every Shavuot. This Shavuot she wants to share the recipe with you all.
Ingredients
1 packet Chocolate or plain Digestive biscuits
For the cheese mixture:
1 bag Soft cheese (Chevingtons medium fat works well)
1 tub Vanilla or plain yoghurt
1 cup Sugar
1 packet Osem Vanilla Pudding
1 cup Milk
Topping or filling (optional)
Grated chocolate, Choclate Vermicelli, Strawberries
Method
Step 1
Beat all the cheese mixture ingredients together, using a wooden spoon. Make sure they are all thoroughly mixed.
Step 2
Crumble the digestive biscuits at bottom of dish.
Step 3
Spoon the cheese mixture on top of the crumbled biscuits.
Step 4
Sprinkle with chocolate vermicelli or grated chocolate.
Step 5
Then refrigerate before eating.
Step 6 (Optional)
Add some sliced strawberry for a finishing touch!
