JNF UK is Britain’s oldest Israel charity. For over 120 years we have been committed to building Israel and securing its future. Our current focus is on dramatically improving the quality of life in Israel’s peripheries. From improving education and welfare to boosting employment opportunities and healthcare, JNF UK invests in an Israel where no one is left behind.
The October 7 attacks saw Israeli communities face extreme loss and devastation. JNF UK was there to provide vital support to those hardest hit. Our work can be found here.
Now, we want to show our solidarity with the people of Israel and commemorate the lives of the victims of the attacks. We are raising funds to plant a Memorial Forest to remember those who are gone but not forgotten.
We aim to plant a forest of over 1,200 trees with walking paths to connect all areas of the forest, outdoor seating and a commemoration wall to honour the individuals and communities who lost their lives in the attacks.
Historically, JNF UK, along with other JNF’s worldwide, has been planting trees in Israel since 1901, a legacy we aspire to continue.
Those who contribute to the Memorial Forest Project can donate towards the planting of a tree or another part of the forest. All donations of £100 or more will receive the winning certificate design as a thank you for their contribution.
