All proceeds for this year’s event will go towards Neradim Village in Arad and Beit Uri.

Neradim Village is a home for children who have been removed from their family home following poverty, neglect, violence, abuse or other tragic circumstances. All the children who attend are referred by the Ministry of Welfare, mostly as a result of a court order.

JNF UK is raising vital funds to update the Emergency Centre facilities that are currently old and unfit for purpose. The Emergency Centre is an immediate-care, secure unit for children 3-13 years old who arrive at short notice having been removed from their homes as a matter of urgency. The hardships endured by these children are of the harshest possible nature, and as such require the most empathetic and consistent care available.  Currently, the Emergency Centre facilities are housed in a temporary old building that is not fit for purpose.  The proceeds from the event will help JNF UK build treatment rooms, add classrooms, a computer room, a relaxation room and create an outside play area – all vital as the children, due to their situation, are unable to leave the campus or mix with other children in the main village.

Beit Uri is a residential village in Afula for over a 100 mentally and physically challenged Jewish and Arab residents between the ages of six and 65.
