ROSH HASHANAH APPEAL 2019 – Ensuring every Holocaust survivor can live in dignity

This Rosh Hashanah, JNF UK is fundraising for some of the most vulnerable members of Israeli society: Holocaust survivors.

Today, there are over 200,000 survivors living in Israel – the largest community anywhere in the world. They are not only a living testimony to the horrors that – even to this day – some deny ever happened. They are also heroes, each man and woman contributing to the rebuilding of our national home. And yet the position many now find themselves in is beyond dire.

At JNF UK, we believe that every Holocaust survivor should live out their lives with the dignity they deserve. But too many struggle with loneliness, poverty, illness and trauma. That is why, this Rosh Hashanah, we are fundraising to tackle this tragedy head-on. We are supporting four different projects, each of which helps vulnerable survivors in a specific way.

Every day, we are doing all we can to help – but there is so much more we could be doing. There are so many more that still need our help.

The day will come when there are no longer any survivors left to bear witness to the Shoah. Please give generously to ensure that those who are still with us can live out the rest of their lives with the dignity they deserve.

With your help, we can ensure that everyone can have a sweet New Year.
