Viruses, hacking and other offences

You must not misuse this site by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which are malicious or technologically harmful.  You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to this site, the servers on which this site is stored or any server, computer or database connected to this site. You must not attack this site via a denial-of-service attack or a disrupted denial-of service attack.

Registration

Most elements of www.jnf.co.uk may be viewed by any visitor to the Website, however access to some services may require you to register as a member. If you register, you must ensure that the details provided by you on registration or at any time are correct or complete. You must inform us immediately of any changes to the information that you provided when registering by updating your personal details in order that we can communicate with you effectively.

Events: booking and cancellation

The Website provides an events booking service which enables you to book and (where there is a payment) pay for some of our events tickets online. Your order is an offer to receive or purchase tickets from us. The tickets may be made available to you in email format or via post and, if payment is required, only once your payment has been authorised. There will be no contract of any kind between you and us unless and until you make authorised payment for the tickets, where required, or until you receive the ticket(s) from us. At any point up until then, we may decline to supply the tickets to you without giving any reason.

Where a payment is due, it is calculated and payable in advance as set out in the promotional material or on the website. VAT is not included in the cost nor is it payable on our events tickets. JNF UK shall be under no obligation to provide you with tickets until the appropriate payment has been made, where applicable.

Your credit/debit card details will be encrypted to minimise the possibility of unauthorised access or disclosure. Authority for payment must be given at the time of ordering your ticket.

For security purposes, you may not re-sell or transfer the tickets. If you lose your ticket or it is stolen, entry to the event will be at our discretion.

Due to the nature of the events, if a guest speaker is unable to attend an event (for example, as a result of illness) or the event must otherwise be altered as a result of circumstances beyond JNF UK’s control, JNF will not provide you with a refund of the price paid for your ticket.
You consent to the filming, photography or otherwise recording of your attendance at the event and to our use of such material in future publicity.

Once you have received or purchased the ticket(s), you will not be able to return them or claim any refund. Your purchase (where applicable) will be treated as a contribution to the cost of the event.

We will only offer you a refund if an event is cancelled and is not rescheduled within a reasonable time or you are unable to attend the rescheduled event. Any refunds payable will be paid to the person who purchased the ticket.
